This special project was sponsored by Office Max and celebrated in the auditorium at Southwood Middle School in Miami, Florida. In an effort to provide relief and put an end to teacher funded classrooms, Office Max sponsored The Traveling Canvas by providing three art classrooms with over $3,000 worth of art supplies needed to keep the art programs alive. The recipients were shocked, as it was a complete surprise! The schools selected were: Southwood Middle School's Magnet Art department, RR Moton Elementary's art department and Southwood Middle School's Magnet Photography department.

Each teacher received an enormous box custom filled just for them! This project was personal, thoughtful and heartfelt. A spirit of school and community was experienced by all! We are grateful to Office Max for their tremendous contribution towards keeping the arts alive in our schools!
